3 reasons that prevent longer docu content from getting commissioned by brands? + How to see past them...

1. "People have a short attention span".
Nope. People will follow a story for as long as it grips them (e.g. 14 peaks).

2. "No one has time in their day"
Fine. We're all busy. So make a trailer that details all the messages you want to get across - and invite them into the world for when they do have time.

3. "It's hard to organise, costs more and we just need something that gives a flavour of our brand. Let's just do some interviews."
Interviews can be really powerful, and we love them. But if you don't try and develop something deeper, you're not going to be able to show it. If you really want to convey your core messages in an authentic resonant way, back your people & back their stories.

#Authenticity can mean digging deep and branching out.
