Adam Shakinovsky - Founder
Adam started his career as an intern in NYC on Noah Baumbach’s The Squid and The Whale, before becoming Head of Production at Agile Films.
As a writer, producer and exec, he saw the impact of authenticity across digital, television, music videos, documentaries and film, and after 7 years decided to setup Bru.
He is fascinated by contagious empathy, always focussing on his clients most specific, honest and entertaining way to share their story. He loves it when he helps people’s passions connect to their tribe.
Founding Bru has always been about helping people find, or build, where they want to belong.
Adam is also a co-director of VERYFINE Ltd, a story development studio that hosts the live storytelling show OneTrackMinds, has published a book of the same name, and is in development on a TV Drama series with Fremantle.
Helen Fleming - Head Of Production
Helen is a producer/director and editor with extensive experience creating corporate video, branded content and TV documentaries.
She has extensive professional experience working as a producer and director, as well as camera operator, sound supervisor, interviewer and editor. Notable work includes IFTA Nominated Documentary Series The Estate and The Edge of Town as well as Batman - The Story of Irish Cricket.
After completing both a BSc Hons in Video and Sound and BEng Electronic Engineering in Video and Sound, she has produced videos for clients like Special Olympics, The Financial Ombudsman, Unilever, Centrica, KPMG, TJX, and HM Prisons Service. She works calmly in high pressure situations, aiming always to produce the highest quality work and very happy clients.
